What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you request account deletion, the following will occur:

• Permanent Data Removal: All your personal information, progress data, and account details will be permanently deleted from our databases
• Loss of Access: You will lose access to all your saved data, progress tracking, and personalized quit plans
• No Recovery: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered or restored
• Immediate Effect: The deletion process will begin within 30 days of receiving your request

How to Request Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your account, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to contactnicotinecount@gmail.com
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
3. Include the following information in your email:
   • Your full name
   • The email address associated with your NicotineCount account
   • A clear statement that you want to delete your account
   • Confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent

What We Need to Process Your Request

To ensure we can properly identify and delete your account, please provide:

• The email address you used to create your account
• Your full name as it appears in your account
• Any additional identifying information that can help us locate your account

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.

Data Retention After Deletion

After your account is deleted:

• All personal data will be permanently removed from our active databases
• Some information may be retained in backup systems for a limited time (up to 90 days) for disaster recovery purposes
• After 90 days, all data will be completely removed from all systems
